Hexagram 59 · Line 1

Dispersion初九

Huan · Chu Jiu

初九 · Chu Jiu

The Line

He brings help with the strength of a horse. Good fortune!

Interpretation

Here it is a matter that, before the separation is carried out, the first beginnings of it are overcome; that the clouds are scattered before storm and rain have set in. In such times, when secret deviations of moods appear and mutual misunderstandings are the consequence, one must act quickly and strongly in order to dissolve these misunderstandings and the mutual mistrust.
